Burning Skies

The colors here are so vibrant and bright...it really feels like I'm in the clouds when I look at it

Your use of shading also adds a lot of dimension to this piece

I'm afraid what isn't quite working for me is the small person crouching in the clouds and the difference in colors for the different references

While I love your concept....it is really tough to see that person...and he does look a little out of place

Also with the sky looking like the Sun is setting the city below should somewhat reflect that (the river in the lower left looks like it's broad day light)

Also until I looked at your resources I couldn't even tell that was a city beneath the clouds

Overall though it is a beautiful picture...and an idea I wish were possible
